How do I install Builder Board® Project Edition?
Remove the plastic sleeve. Place on floor and unroll. Cut to desired length with a utility knife. You can seam multiple pieces together using Builder Board® Tape. Do not adhere Builder Board tape directly to the floor. A clean removal tape such as an all-purpose or painter’s grade blue tape can be used for anchoring Builder Board to the floor. Test all tapes in an inconspicuous place before use.
What’s the difference between Builder Board and Project Edition?
Builder Board Project Edition offers the same great benefits as the original Builder Board, but in a slightly lighter application. Builder Board rolls are 38″ while Project Edition is slightly smaller at 35″. This temporary floor protection board can protect hardwood floors, concrete, marble, granite, travertine, terrazzo, stone, tile and carpet.
How do I get Builder Board Project Edition to lay flat?
Use the ‘bend back’ method during installation. Unroll Builder Board Project Edition, grab the short end and bend it against its natural curl. This will remove any memory from the board. Anchor the board using a clean removal tape.
